WE’RE HIRING: Business Presenter/Producer

Are you passionate about telling the stories behind the numbers? Do you thrive at the intersection of business, news, and engaging production? If you have the editorial chops, on-air charisma, and content creation flair to make business news relevant and relatable — we want to meet you!

TVC News is looking for a dynamic and business-savvy Presenter/Producer to join our team!

The Role

As our Business Presenter/Producer, you’ll play a dual role:

  • On-air, you’ll present live and recorded business segments — bringing clarity, confidence, and context to everything from inflation trends to tech investments.
  • Behind the scenes, you’ll lead the production of timely, original business content — from scripting and booking to rundowns and post-production.

You’ll be a key voice in shaping how we report markets, policy, entrepreneurship, and the economy — connecting numbers to the real people they impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Present daily and weekly business shows, news bulletins, and special segments
  • Pitch and produce relevant, audience-first business stories across TV and digital
  • Source and interview key voices: analysts, CEOs, regulators, and entrepreneurs
  • Write scripts, review edits, and work with graphics teams to visualize data
  • Track trends and respond swiftly to breaking business news
  • Collaborate with the newsroom, research, and digital teams for cross-platform impact

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident on-air communicator with strong editorial judgment
  • 5+ years in business journalism, financial reporting, or broadcast production
  • Excellent writing, research, and story development skills
  • Experience producing news/current affairs content for broadcast
  • Comfortable with data, dashboards, and scripting rundowns

Bonus if you:

  • Have digital content production experience
  • Can moderate panels or host business forums
